Account Executive — Software Sales
Greater Chicagoland Area — Chicago, IL
For this position, we are seeking experienced candidates who know how to prospect within a targeted geography and who are capable of matching the customer’s needs with the value that can be delivered by InterplX’s ExpenseNet® software.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing new revenue generating opportunities for assigned territory and accounts
- Providing proposal responses and software demonstrations for prospective clients
- Serving as key point of contact for assigned customers
- Contributing to product development, and marketing/selling strategies
- Conducting all business activities in a professional and ethical manner
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in software sales or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools
- Excellent analytical and influencing skills; comfortable calling at the C-level
- Must have an active list of contacts to leverage existing client relationships
- Demonstrated computer skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM tools
- BS/BA in business or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
